About the Instructor

Mr. Sunil Suthar is an exciting and energetic Master Instructor who has twenty plus years of experience in martial arts. He is very enthusiastic about the success of every student that joins this studio. Articulate and a great communicator, Master Suthar’s methods of teaching martial arts are unique and refined to simplicity to allow each student to develop and excel at his/her own pace. Mr. Suthar is a certified martial arts instructor/coach. He is professionally educated, a consultant, and guest speaker. He is frequently called upon to speak on topics both in and out of the Martial Arts Industry.

Over years of teaching martial arts, Mr. Suthar’s program has helped students develop the following personal traits: confidence, self esteem, perseverance, courage, and life skills. Incidentally, Mr. Suthar decided that the the goals of his training program would be to help every student to develop these skills needed for success in all aspects of life.

Mr. Suthar’s dedication in the area of martial arts instruction has helped hundreds of people live empowered lives:

  • Trainer to five National Member Organization US Olympic TaeKwondo sparring champions as well countless Regional Open champions
  • A 4th Degree Black Belt/Master Instructor of Olympic Tae Kwon Do
  • Level 1 Coach with the US Olympic Committee/USA TaeKwonDo Inc.;
  • Grappling competitor that trains Brazilian Jui Jitsu with Jack McVicker of Team McVicker ( Champaign , Il )
  • Earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at Southern Illinois University
  • Active in community affairs
  • Is not a part time/full time instructor, but rather a Martial Artist who practices and provides instruction as a way of life!

Today, Mr. Suthar is involved in teaching his students and youngsters of area schools about the importance of respect for law and order and avoiding drugs and alcohol use. Mr. Suthar is dedicated to empowering parents to raise the self esteem of their children.
